How the AI Insights feature works and how to generate your coaching text.

What are AI Insights?

AI Insights is an automatically generated coaching text for your race, powered by a large language model. It analyses your split times, time losses, rankings, leg notes, and preparation goals to produce a structured coaching paragraph covering your overall performance, key strengths, and critical mistakes.

Generating insights

AI Insights are not generated automatically when you import — you request them once per race. Find the "AI INSIGHTS" section on the race analysis page and click "Get AI insights".

AI Insights require the AI features toggle to be enabled in Settings. If you do not see the button, check your settings.

One generation per race

Each race can only be analysed once. Once the insights are generated they are saved to that race permanently. There is no way to regenerate them for the same race.

Limitations

AI Insights are based on split-time data, your leg comments, and your preparation notes. They do not know the terrain or your exact route. Always combine them with your own memory of the race and a Livelox GPS review for the full picture.

AI insights can occasionally be imprecise or generic. Treat them as a starting point for reflection, not as definitive coaching advice.
